A common enquiry we encounter here at HireAll is how to choose a dance floor. Whether you are planning your big day or a party you want to hire a dance floor to accommodate all your guests. The problem is you don’t know where to start.
There are some key questions we ask any customer looking to hire a dancefloor:
- How many people will be coming along?
- What’s your budget?
- What type and size of room is it?
- What is the colour Scheme & Style of Room?
Firstly, work out the number of people who are coming. From there you will be able to work out the size of dancefloor that you need to rent. Dance floors are hired in panels so you can hire as big or as small a dance floor to accommodate your guests.
A dance floor size of 12ft x 12ft will accommodate 80 -100 people.
Here is our handy guide which will help you to work out what size dance floor you will need to rent for the number of people attending your event.
Secondly, what’s your budget? We have a range of dancefloors to choose from and to suit a variety of budgets so you should ideally have a budget in mind to help narrow things down.
Thirdly, how much space do you have in your marquee or venue?
This is a very important factor. You don’t want your dancefloor to take up too much space and equally, you don’t want a tiny dancefloor at the end of a large hotel ballroom.
Your colour scheme may dictate the colour of the dancefloor you hire. If you are having a classic white wedding, then our classic white dancefloor is ideal. For a more traditional look, you might want to hire our Parquet, Brown Mahogany dance floor. The colour palette and style of the room might also influence your choice.
We have three different colours dancefloors available for hire.
- Black & White Check
- Classic White
- Parquet / Wooden
